nordic_saga: Ghost information

I asked the Grey Lady about the secret passageway; she said it's been here as long as she has but the last person to use it was a boy called Cicero about 150 years ago. I assume he must have put a preservation spell on the room for it to be in the good condition it is now.

Chaeyz and Jenyae and I will be going down together in a few hours, and I suspect the cat will too. He needs a name, even though I don't know if he plans to stick around.

ETA: Chaeyz suggested I call the cat Cicero, after the boy who used the room. Minda looked obliquely pleased when she heard this and began quoting some ancient Muggle writer, so I guess Cicero it is.

Cicero was also a Roman lawyer in the time of Cleopatra VII. Very persuasive, never lost a case. At least that's what I heard.

This room sounds quite dull to me. Were there any enchantments at all? Anything that made getting in there difficult? Also, you might want to add your own preservation charms on the mix, because sometimes they are broken when another human enters the preserved area.

Just a thought

That's probably who she was quoting, then. I don't know my Muggles very well.

I think there are some enchantments on the room, we just haven't figured out what they are yet. Unfortunately there's no time to explore until Thursday, as we've just had our first O.W.L. and are cramming for tomorrow's (it's Transfiguration, so I'm not too terribly worried). Jenyae and Chaeyz might be going down later, so I'll ask them to reinforce the preservation spells then.

Thank you for the suggestions.

Very decent of you. I hope you did well on your Transfiguration. My N.E.W.T. was quite enjoyable. Rather insulting, actually.
